Carol's Visit

Hello Everyone

My cousin Carol came to visit New York this weekend and we had an amazing time. Carol is a great cousin and friend and I was so happy to have her visit me this weekend. On Friday night we drank lots of wine and ate at a favorite and cheap Vietnamese restaurant. Saturday was spent getting lost in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, eating cheese and shopping for an Asian influenced meal that was prepared and devoured on Saturday evening.

Carol and I spent Saturday night with my friend Crispin and his parents that are visiting from England. We prepared roasted pork that was marinated with soy sauce, lime, lemongrass and ginger. Carol and I also made two incredible side dishes that are featured below. I hope you enjoy these recipes. Special thanks to Carol for being an inspiration behind this week’s RecipePhile.
